General Electrical Work

We provide general electrical maintenance, repairs, upgrades and installations for medical and healthcare facilities. Wherever practical, planned works are scheduled for weekends to reduce disruption to staff, patients and normal weekday operations. Emergency faults, safety issues and power outages are treated separately and can be attended to when immediate action is required.

Scheduling planned electrical work for weekends can also provide a financial benefit to medical practices. Maintenance can often be completed without cancelling appointments, closing treatment rooms, relocating patients or reducing staff productivity during normal operating hours. This helps facilities maintain weekday revenue and continuity of service while still completing necessary repairs and upgrades.

Our familiarity with medical and diagnostic environments also influences the way we work. We use clean, well-maintained tools and equipment suitable for clinical areas and take additional care around treatment rooms, laboratories and medical equipment.

We recognise that medical and diagnostic environments often rely on specialised electrical components that differ from those used in standard commercial installations. In addition to commonly required items such as GPOs, general lighting components and protective devices, we carry or source equipment-specific parts including internal lamps, specialist fuses, control components, power supplies and other electrical accessories used in scanners, examination systems, operating and procedure lights, and related medical equipment. Familiarity with these systems allows us to arrive better prepared, reduce time spent sourcing uncommon components and, where possible, return critical equipment to service with less delay.
